Just for giggles, I was looking through my old usenet posts
I haven't been on a single newsgroup since the beginning of 99, so reading all the stuff I posted was like a trip down memory lane (horrendous spelling and all). It was mostly all bullshit about TV shows and such (because I was only 15 at the time) but it was still fun to do. The crazy part about it all, is that I still remember the people from the newsgroups that I used to chat with. I wonder what happened to all of them...there were a few that I was quite good friends with at the time.
Do people still even use usenet anymore? I would imagine the newsgroups these days are nothing more than spam and porn. Any former newsgroup users here?
