MTV Real World - great episode tonight where they're caught in a Hurricane
I have to confess that I'm a fan of the show having first watched it the year they were in San Franscico. But to be honest, the show has gone down hill from those first episodes.

But this year has been pretty interesting not because of the cast but because this year the show is in Key West Florida and they started there right after Katrina had hit which means there were still several hurricanes to come. They showed Rita, which they made that through ok but tonight they had to evacuate for Wilma and it looks like the Fort Lauderdale hotel they went for their evacuation was hit pretty hard and the Real Worlders had to try and survive in this hotel that was getting torn apart (why they didn't go inland is beyond me but what do I know?)

So I'm sure I'll get some snarky comments about the post but consider watching it for this. Here's first hand example of what people deal with when surviving through a Hurricane when it hits directly. It's not a pretty thing to deal with and unfortunately I don't see Hurricane seasons getting any better. Warmer waters mean stronger hurricanes.
