Cripes - My deck has 5 separate wasp nests on it!

And, it's not like we have a big deck on our house - it's like 14' x 18'. Granted, it's a raised deck over our walkout basement, but 4 of the nests are around the railings. I just sprayed 2 nests on the deck a few weeks back, and another one near the basement door.

I feel like if I go on vacation, our deck will turn into a waspy version of that last scene from "Kingdom of the Spiders"

2. Well, 2 weeks back I bought one of those

"Earth Options" cans of Raid (supposedly kills wasps & hornets using natural plant based ingredients) . It seemed to do the trick on the first two nests... but, maybe it has something that attracted more wasps?

8. yes, i bought a couple of cans of wasp/hornet spray

i don't want my 3 year old opening the door to the deck and finding out how nasty wasps can be the hard way.

9. Spray them after dark and you don't

have to worry about being stung, they will not fly.
