Dude, I've got a Dell!
Actually, it's just a Dell keyboard I got at the local Salvation Army for $2. :-)

BTW, whatever happened to that "Dude" ad guy?
I know he got busted for having pot, and fired.

I guess he just faded back into the woodwork.

1. Wasn't Apple going to hire him at one point?
Of course, since Apple computers now ARE pc's, he wouldn't have the impact he would have had before.

3. LOL, too true.
The IDE hard drive specification is commonplace and low quality.

Mac OS X is FreeBSD repackaged.

Motorola has been replaced by Intel (not AMD, a better performer for the money and would also give Apple more profits because, oddly, prices haven't gone down??!)

2. I had a Dell once
First the hard drive went. Then the power supply. Then I got a BSOD and couldn't recover it.

Now I have an HP.

4. Hard drives are bought by all companies as cheaply as possible...
I'd back up often but a HD failure I'd forgive.

But not a power supply failure; those things, if poorly made, can break down easily, overheat, short circuit... any company making these on the cheap should have their board of directors locked up in a padded cell.

6. I had an HP twice. They died. Now I have a Dell.
Running almost non-stop since August 2003, and I don't even know what the Windows XP BSOD looks like.
