I'm always glad to discuss movies, but I need to know your expectations and where you're living -- the better to know which local paper's summer movie previews to recommend. What's released at a film festival or in a major city might not turn up in a particular town until later, if at all.
I read The Washington Post, which always does seasonal updates (fall/winter, plus summer) movie previews. Here's an online chat they ran on the summer 2006 schedule. I'm not a fan of Jen Chaney (and don't even get me started on Stephen Hunter), but it might give you some ideas.

You can look up screenings by area, too.
http://www.imdb.comGoing to the movies is part of a summer ritual, as far as I'm concerned, whether it's watching movies in a theater, a museum, or outdoors (yes, we still do that in some areas). Just silence the cell phones and other devices, gang!

On edit: Just looked at your profile and saw that you're in northern New Jersey. I guess movie selection depends on how far you want to drive and whether you want to cross state lines.
