Anybody else have weird co-workers?

When I got into work today, a female co-worker asked me where she could buy a holder for her cell phone while she's driving in her car.

She mentioned that her phone keeps falling under the gas pedal (!), and she needed something to keep it in place. I asked her why she didn't put the phone in her purse -- she told me it was because she wouldn't be able to hear it because her radio is on (how about turning it off?).

Then I told her to put it in her pocket. She said she couldn't do that because "she's a girl" and that since I don't have a sister, I don't understand that. Also, she wouldn't be able to answer the phone while driving if it was in her pocket.

I asked her if she is always expecting emergency calls and couldn't possibly park on the side of the road to answer the call -- she said yes, surprisingly.

Basically, she couldn't put the phone in her pocket because it would upset some vague social more or something. I swear to God, some people...

I was watching Chocolat with my (much older) ex-girlfriend and her son. All of a sudden, he goes, "man, I really want to live on a houseboat with Johnny Depp." We both turn and look at him. He goes, "Well, uh what I meant was Johnny Depp is like the coolest guy ever and like living on a houseboat would be like sooo awesome. So living on a houseboat with Johnny Depp would be like totally awesome cause he's such a cool guy and it's a houseboat." My ex replies to her son, "It's okay, Bennett.
