4. It seems clear enough.
The next time the people in charge avocate an illegal war the marines show up & do their duty to jail the criminals for not upholding the Constitution.

Actually the irony of having the the first deaths of the next war be the ones of those that wanted the war is sweeter but that would be counterproductive to starting a real civilization.

6. Many years ago...
there was an anti-war commercial showing two old guys duking it out on a hill with the soldiers looking on.

It didn't work any better than "Lysistrata" did. Or the Sermon on the Mount, or Mark Twain's screeds on war, or Gandhi's or King's examples.

"Suppose They Gave a War and Nobody Came?" was a good movie and became a popular bumper sticker, but who remembers it?

War remains our greatest spectator sport. Or, as Mark Twain once said, our greatest obscenity, and like all porn, remains popular no matter who hates it.
