It's been 3 weeks or so. We had some people come this past week.

until it turned into a month and then two months. I lost count of the days, but it was less than three months. And we had a total of 35 showings. A lot of people just came to see what was out there. It's hard to get used to it taking longer after having such a hot market. But people are buying. They're just looking at more houses first. You'll sell, don't worry.

I hope you get your price! Our drive will be about 14 hours. And I have to drive this time so we can get both cars up there. Yikes! I've never driven more than a few hours before. PSP. My house has a basement that is massive! In all with the basement it is about 3200 sq. ft. The prices in NC are high though, which we were not excepting. Between $500 and 600,000 for the house were are looking for. And we thought it was cheaper to live down there.

But it's still cheaper than FL. I thought NJ was pretty high. Then again, it seems like a lot of people are moving to NC. I hope you find a house for the right price.

Then you'd have to lower that price and that's not a good thing. One of our neighbors lowered his price twice and then just gave up and took the house off the market. It was listed higher than ours with about half the property.
