Stolen oven doors sold as plasma TVs

Some people in Indiana thought they were getting a good deal on plasma televisions. Instead, when they got home and opened up the box they found an oven door.

1. Reminds me of a stunt my brother pulled in college.....

he lived in a dorm that didnt allow cooking in rooms. He had a microwave hidden in plain sight for 6 months by putting a TV antenna on top of it.

If it was being sold out of a trunk of a car. I wonder how those scammers would react if one of their potential buyers started tearing off the plastic and open up the box?

5. sheesh, you got that right, too many dudes come up to us already...

with "$4,000 diamond tennis braclets for $200, holmes..." it's one thing when they turn out to be rhinestone, or zirc...but an oven door as a plasma tv!?!? that's pretty bold.

hubby just pats'em on the shoulder in the process of informing them, "it's cool homey, we're good. i just look like i have money." and you hit the other part right on the head, starts root'n through the package straight up big time, let'em earn their money :thumbsup:
