Did the entire cast of the TV show "Alice" drop off the face of the Earth?
Just wondered, after seeing a rerun of "Alice" yesterday. Whatever happened to Linda Lavin, Vic Tayback, Polly Holliday, Beth Howland and the kid who played Alice's son? They were all very good comic actors.

1. Mel's long dead.
Vic Tayback did do a lot of guest spots on TV in the '80s, though.

6. According to IMDB...
Linda Lavin has appeared on The OC, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and The Sopranos. Philip McKeon has done nothing in show business since 1994. Vic Tayback, as noted above, passed away about 16 years ago. Polly Holliday had a recurring role on Home Improvement and made a television movie in 2004. Beth Howland has had sporadic TV appearances.

8. Polly Holliday was in my Old Testament class in seminary
Seriously!

Early 90s. She takes occasional classes in various places to keep her mind working and to learn more things. Real nice lady - got to sit for coffee with her one afternoon.
