1. Hmmm
The red in his rubber suit is too dark.

It's rubber. Why rubber? Apart from the concern it's going to smell real bad inside, it looks fake. Christopher Reeve was REAL.

Luthor might be good.

But I'd rather spend the money on the new Superman movie disc set coming out in June than to see another remake.

5. It's Not a Remake
The movie is a loose sequel to 'Superman II'.

The suit looks great and it isn't made of rubber. It is clearly based on Joe Shuster's original drawings and looks like the design from the classic 1940's Fleisher cartoons.

The re-release of the DVD's with the original Donner cut of 'Superman II' should be great. Nothing can be done to help 'Superman III' or 'Superman IV' other than burning every print.

Chris

2. Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor?!
As long as it's not a caricature, like Gene Hackman's was -- that rocks!

4. I hate the cape
It doesn't go cross his shoulders like it should. And the red is too dark.

6. I'll probably check it out just because I like the director.
Although I do hope they had the good taste to hire the special effects crew from the third Matrix movie. Damn, but they did a good job with that. During the entire fight sequence, I kept thinking "This would look great in a Superman movie."

9. Sorry, but he looks a bit more like Superwuss.
Supe should be built like an Adonis, more like (forgive me, but) an Ah-nold in his prime Mr. Olympia shape.

Just my opinion. Probably still be a cool movie.

13. That trailer is a bit heavy on christian symbolism
Jor-El sent his only son to lead the people of earth into the light?
:puke:

Is there any part of our culture that religion christianity isn't infiltrating? Come on, it's a comic book character! Fundamentalists have spent 60 years condemning comic books as corupting influences.
