Told them all to filibuster.

I wasn't sure if I should say "vote no" or "go for the filibuster", but I think the filibuster makes the stronger point, so that's what I went with.

It was the first time I've ever called anyone in Washington! I've sent letters, but never called. Now I'm thinking I should just put their numbers in my cell phone, and screw the letter writing - that took me about 20 seconds each, as opposed to writing, printing out, shoving in an envelope, addressing and stamping and then mailing a letter.

(I'm talking, of course, about the proposed amendment to ban cat juggling.)

1. I wish it would make a shit bit of difference to call my senators.
Stepford Senators, they are.

:grr:

(Trying to stop my favorite cat activity, of course.)
