It's 4C right now up here in Edmonton
at 1am; this has been the warmest winter I've ever seen up here. We've maybe had 10cm of snow so far, and it's rarely (maybe twice) hit 0 Fahrenheit; we should be that cold (if not colder) every night now.

It's insane; I've never seen anything like it..

4. more or less
I've actually got the balcony door open right now, and I'm not the only one.

Of course, next week we'll probably get a blizzard dropping 30cm of show and dropping to -25c!

2. It's been raining buckets
here in Portland, Oregon since November. I blame Bush for the weird weather.

3. enigmatic, hasn't it been unbelievable...
I, for one of many, have been enjoying it; a guilty pleasure, shall we say, because I notice global warming is affecting us very strongly.

Today, a friend and I met for lunch and sat out in the park.

Two weeks ago, I was eating lunch in the river valley. In January! It's been incredibly warm.

I almost ran someone down today! I was going south, down 105th Street, not far from Grant McEwan, and some drunken guy ran out in front of my car! Rush hour traffic, just darted through. Missed him by inches! :scared:

5. Holy Sh....!
Oh man, I go by there acouple of times a week on my bike (which I haven't put away this winter because it's been so warm); that's scary!

6. My ex hasn't put his bike away yet, either
he's dashing around town, and loving it. He has a friend who just gets big ass tires for his bike, and away he goes in sleet; blizzard; snow up to your eyeballs...doesn't matter, he's out there! (yes, he's a tad insane lol)

Yes, it was, very scary! I'm so glad I didn't hit him; even if he was in the wrong, I still wouldn't have been able to get over hitting someone. My father accidentally killed someone many years ago (an elderly man with dementia darted into traffic) and he suffered from a hellish depression afterwards.

Thank goodness I'm just left with a couple of shakes, nothing more. I doubt HE remembers any of it. :grr:
