How strong is a child's imagination?
When I was young I had a friend who I went to work with, a young girl with frizzy hair...I can't remember her name, I'm sure my mom would. Anyway, I used to go out to the back lane to meet her for work. I seriously believed she exsisted and would talk to her and could see her...I also had a similiar realtionship with a family of large mice that lived in a rock in the backyard.

Can your childhood imagination be so strong as to induce hallucenations? Or was I just a young kid with some mental problems?

1. I knew real from imaginary
I called things from my imagination that I'd think of usually while lying in bed "Dream worlds". One of my attempted novels is an expansion on one of the "dream worlds." I did not see these people in real life. I thought that perhaps they really did exist and thought maybe I'd see or meet them, but I never did.
I have a friend, an only child, that played with her sister in her early childhood. Her real life sister was stillborn. She believes, though, that her sister, in spirit, really did play with her.
Some people believe that children are more in touch with the spirit world and see ghosts more often than adults, not thinking they are unusual. Perhaps, you should research this girl. I don't know about the mice, though. Did you really like mice?
