Ever since my bad breathing episode a little while back, I've had to use an inhaler every day. The stuff tasts AWFUL! :puke: Can't they put lemon or eucalyptus flavor in them?

1. I don't know,
but I can imagine that some additional flavor would trigger even more attacks.

Why don't they suggest something more palatable like "cat dander".

If you suck on a lemon drop while you use it, it helps

(just don't inhale the lemon drop--trust me, I know)

24. Breath strips.
Each of these has a true inhaler story behind it...

But, for this one I distinctly remember thinking as I was rolling
around on the floor doing a guppy impersonation.

"Oh, GREAT! I'm going to die and this damn thing is going to dissolve
and they won't know what did me in."

27. 3 days too late!
I was just recently put on an albuterol inhaler and could have used this advice a few days ago. I pulled it out in a rush and got me some homegrown pocket lint blown down my throat.

Yuck.

I still gag when I think about it.

37. Worst inhaler story ever.
Edited on Wed Jan-18-06 06:20 PM by woofless
I have emphysema and loves me some albuterol. I woke up in the middle of the night and reached for the inhaler on the side table. I take a big ol' huff and feel something with legs caught in the back of my throat. Took me about ten minutes to hack out a small earwig that had taken up residence in the mouthpiece. You can bet I look now.:hi: Howdy from Whatcom County.

Woof
