What are your New Years Eve plans?
Are you going out? Going to a party? To the bar? Or are you staying at home?

I'm doing nothing special tonight...just sitting at home by myself and watching some movies. I got invited to a party...but I'd rather just stay home tonight.

2. I'll be at home
Right now, I'm going to the flea market for the afternoon. And I might hit the mall later. But I'll be home tonight. I bought of copy of Serenity that I want to watch. And I got a little mini bottle of sparking red wine to toast the new year.

4. Nothing exciting
for anyone else but we're looking forward to it. We're going to pick up some junk food, pizza rolls, cheese sticks, chips/queso, and make homemade buffalo wings; possibly rent a movie. Then we're spending the evening at home, snacking, drinking, and hopefully staying awake until midnight. There's a South Park marathon and there's still a few episodes off season 1 that we haven't watched on our DVD so I'm sure Cartman and Kenny, Stan and Kyle will be joining us! It'll be fun for us, even if it seems boring. We were invited to a party but won't know more than 2 people there so it's date night at home!

5. Oooh...

6. Come on over!
We cook them in the deep fat fry-er (is that how you spell it?) and then dip them in some hot wing sauce. They're better than any we've bought frozen. And our diet/healthy eating starts Monday so there will be plenty tonight!

Everyone stays overnight in tents or campers, its quite nice here in Fl today, 76 at 2:00! We are still recovering from Xmas, the gang was all here, 22, kids , grandkids, my mom and our great grandbaby. Hubby and I like this night to ourselves, its special to us!

19. Staying home
I'm not really into drinking and don't care for the company of drunks. And snogging with strange women at midnight...OK, that's not too bad. I've hired a movie - The Tunnel (some german flick about escaping from East Berlin in the early 60's.) I'll probably crash before the witching hour. I've just returned from pedalling out in the chill wearing shorts. A great sleeping tonic by the time evening rolls around.

I could probaby rant about the two chickenshit rich kids in an SUV who were hassling and yelling at me, though I was nowhere near their lane. Sounded like they had already started on the booze. They drove off before I could catch them. I hope they're one of tonight's fatalities. But I won't rant.

24. Staying home, learning a new programming language
and possibly playing with some of my hi-tech musical gear I've purchased over the last year but never learned how to use-- yet. Or maybe I'll watch Chappelle's Show season 2 which I got for Christmas but haven't watched yet.

This will be my first new years alone in ten years, as I'm no longer married and my gf lives 1,000 miles away. I'm actually looking forward to it.

27. So far...
I've been to Target and Home Depot, am taking down Christmas decorations and reorganizing, and I put barbecue sandwich meat in the crockpot for later.

Later on...appetizers and snacks, cocktails, good music, darts, card games, board games. Maybe a couple of friends will drop by; if not, that's fine too. We like low-key NYE celebrations, but we do stay up to see the ball drop and toast the new year with champagne.

29. Not much here
I worked at the store from 10-3:30 today. Blew out my right shoulder completely around 1:00. Do they care? No. So, with ibuprofin and my ice pack, my rotator cuff and two cats are going to be very lowkey tonight. Neighbors invited me over for martinis. I might wander over. My daughter's got a party to go to.

Next??
