Help My Browser Screen is goofy

When I open my internet connection or when I do a search and a new browser screen appears it no longer is a full screen, I have to drag it to a full screen, what is going on and can I fix the problem?

1. Try this
Close all your browser windows, then open a new one by clicking the program icon.

Maximize it, then close it.

Then click the program icon again, it should be maximized on startup now.

5. Try holding down CTRL
While you close the maximized window. Or hold CTRL and close it using the File->Close option.

2. That happens to me at work sometimes when others send me files
either in Word, jpegs or pdfs. I have not figured out a cure other than dragging it to a full screen. Usually it seems to go away on its own, and then reappears later.
