I feel shitty too. Christmas eve I caught a nasty cold. I still can't get rid of it.

drives my wife a little nuts...

I had two bandmates get killed from a New Years Eve wreck (nobody was drunk). It took about two weeks before they both died of head injuries. I drove separately to what was to be the gig..... That was 1989 and I just haven't wanted to do New Years Eve since, regardless of whether I am partying or playing (or both). Now, I spend it with my wife, my two (soon to be three) kids and soaking black eyed peas to be consumed on New Years Day.....
