Latest installment in the ongoing "lets string John along
before we jerk this job right out of his reach" thread:

Yesterday Melodie saw a Title Officer job advertised with a title company in another state. I called to see if it was still open and was asked to email my resume.

Late yesterday afternoon they emailed back asking if I was going to be in the area for the holidays and even suggested that they might fly me up for an interview. (they need to fill this SOON)

I called today and left a voice mail message that I would be very interested.

Got an email back that they were really busy today, but she would call me tommorrow.

So, thats good, I guess, right?

The other complication is that every penny I have is tied up in my home here in Texas. It should have closed and funded by now. Until it does, we can't move anywhere.

2. If she does not call by afternoon, make the call to them.
I have been a persistent applicant, and it has worked for me.

Has your current home sold, and you are just waiting on closing? I have never owned a home, so I cannot say much there. Perhaps some relocation assistance is available from the company.

3. Maybe
If they are willing to fly me up, they might be willing to give me some relacation assistance. I have only gotten relocation assistance for one other job in my life, and it was in this industry.

4. Hope it works out.
It is a good thing to be in a field that has more demand than people to fill the jobs.
