Sign in my fellow, lovably crusty, colourful, often drunk, poetic, romantic, creative, cynical life of the party types!

16. Eh, I'm not really that into stars
Sure I think Kate Winslet is hot, but that's the extent of it. I'm not one of those E! watching, People magazine reading types who follows the lives of stars, and don't have anyone I have any real interest in meeting. It's not like I run in their circles anyway, plus they're too high maintenance.

As to latte, that's accessible, affordable and always available (I have my own machine).

Ikea has a product called Produkt for $2 that whips the milk up (you have to microwave it first).
Got tired of the $$$$$ machines breaking down when I just wanted the ... produkt.

22. Well that's true about the Latte machine
and there is the part of the Net for a few shots of favs (or something similar). I did notice that Kate Winslet was one of your favs. I can see why.

I have a different view:

1) I cannot drink coffee as I am allergic to it
2) Women are not my best bets, except for a very few

it's been an interesting month...finally shedding myself of all the relationships that are bad for me including ones I was born into..paid off or resolved $7,000 worth of debt in 55 days...almost 60 days not placing a bet of any sort ...life is good. Some peaks and valleys...but I can see a future again without all the grief...

48. All good news, Teena.
You deserve all the happiness you can amass. Taking care of YOU should be your priority right now.

That's what I'm having to do. I know how it feels to fall into a hole to feel that you can't dig yourself out.

I hope you are going to pamper your lovely self through the holidays and do things with your friends near you, who have given you wonderful advice and who have shown you what true friendship is.

Better days are a'comin. You've already done the hardest work.

And remember what I told you. When you heal yourself, you will no longer want to be around sick people. So healthier relationships are coming, too.

Edited on Thu Dec-15-05 03:01 AM by nothingshocksmeanymo
haven't figured out just where yet but I have time off and since I've paid off so much I'm gonna treat me to a trip..my boss has a condo in Mexico so that's an option that might be worthwhile...and the water temp here is still around 68 and his place is right on the beach just south of Rosarito...it's also dog friendly

Yeah..and on the wellness thing... I was basically given less than 6 months to handle major issues in my life concerning my mother..now I'm doing it on my timeline for me and my future without it being under the threat of withdrawal.

I'm going to take a few road trips through the holidays, just to get the hell outa here. Depressing to look out the windows and see the upturned trees and squashed fowl pens. I'm going to pack up Lucinda and MMjr. and we're going to Texas and maybe up to Gatlinburg.

Take advantage of that condo! Indulge yourself.

First, I have to tell you that I'm going to steal "cynical life of the party type" as my new description of myself. It's the perfect explanation-- a little negative, but still fun.

I have more responsibilities than I can handle right now. The last thing I need is another person in my life. I couldn't be a caring, involved partner, and that wouldn't be fair to anyone.
