Little bit of a Christmas problem here...

I wasn't aware that eggs benedict was a holiday tradition in some parts of the country but I guess it is. With the increase of the breakfasting on the dish, the acids in the sauce have been, of all things, destroying the metal components in folks retainers and dentures. Its caused a stir in the dental and retiree communities.

And the electronics community. Because there is a run on high quality chrome to use in the replacement metal parts for these false teeth bridges, there are actually SHORTAGES in Florida and other snow bird states. This is causing troubles for other users of high quality chrome.

When asked for comment by the local papers, the head of the ADA stated that dentists would be forced to continue using the material because everyone knows there is no plate like chrome for the hollandaise.
