1. I use a rake or broom for leaves |
|
Oh, snow. Snow is such a novelty in California we leave it be and watch it melt by the end of the day.

5. Did you all get as much snow as KC? |
|
Couldn't believe it...just about a foot of snow.
That's why I shoveled twice. Had about 4-5 inches when I got home from work and then it snowed another 5 or so overnight.
It is awfully pretty. And my beagle loves LOVES it. :)

Takes me about a quarter of the time to clear everything.

with my vintage 1962 Huffy "Snow Fox".
Shit, I run the tach up to 186 beats per minute on my bike when I'm climbing hills. Not gonna let something piddly like snow worry my 48-y-o ass.

So no, no shoveling here. We have a snowblower, and make it earn its keep!

I just came in from shoveling the parking lot at the store. We have about 1/2 acre of pavement out here, but I only shovel the parking spots right in front of the store.
If we get a bunch of snow my neighbor behind me brings out the tractor and plows. But with only a couple of inches, I'm on my own.
I may go shovel the front walk at the house when I get home tonight at 1am

I shoveled it myself for years but some years the snow accumulation was almost catching up to my best efforts!
I miss my old store this time of year since I used to have some tasteful Xmas decorations. And cheerful customers (for books). Internet is not so much fun.
