1. Damn!
My all-time favorite pointless chase movie. :bounce:

"Stop trying to get me to make joyful noises, Mary!"

Oh... when the cops ID the getaway car as a '67 or '68 Chevy? It's a '66. I gave that to IMDB, but I dunno if they ever posted it.

2. Yup, it is. Good eye!
Well, they didn't make it this time either. I continue to hope.

Hey, y'know that other pointless chase moovie, Vanishing Point? You probably are aware of the car switch at the last moment of that one, right?

3. Yup. It's pretty obvious
if you watch closely enough. And more than once.

I don't think "Vanishing Point" is as pointless as "Dirty Mary Crazy Larry," though. The point of it was if you eat enough speed you can do just about anything. :7

I caught the '66 goof because I used to have one, and I knew intimately every bolt and bushing on that sucker.

5. Well, there is the message
about stickin' it to Da Man.

"What it is!" :hippie:

But that was the message of like 90 percent of all '70s movies.

6. Is there a better message?
We could use some of that attitude now. Our current societies' motto seems to be "bend over for the man" :)

8. The car that was crashed into the dozers at the end was NOT a Challenger.
It was a Camaro. Happens so fast that you can't really tell unless you look real close.
