Buy a pack of a brand you don't normally smoke. Set it aside for emergencies. Or just move to the South where cigarettes are given away on every street corner.

But it did happen in the late 70s at a street festival sponsored by Reynolds Tobacco. They also brought in legendary musicians like Bo Diddley, Muddy Waters, Dizzy Gillespie and John Lee Hooker. Good times.

I dated one of those vendors, they gave out free cigs at bars and festivals and any large gathering. I had all the free cigs and cigarette pharaphenillia I needed and attended many of those festivals.

14. I haven't smoked in over 7 years. The other day a co-worker

complained as I was leaving work that he had only two butts left and 7 hours to go.
I went to the closest gas station and bought a pack of my old brand for him.
God! I wanted a cigarette so BAD!
My mouth is watering as I write this. I was and am still hooked on cigarettes.

I quit for 5, had a manic episode in July and started right up again...that monster is never dead, so watch your back...but keep up the good work!
