I had a wonderful date Friday. Saturday evening I was on the Christmas market and in the movies with my best friend here in Frankfurt and Sunday I was just lazy.

33. Leek and potato soup

It's actually closer to "cream soup" the way I made it - but it's still jolly yummy.

Since the weather cooled I've been making myself some soup at the week-end to have during the week with my lunch - it's jolly jolly good.

I've simply added it to my previous lunch of salad and cheese (today some chevre - yummy) - as I only make one lot each week, by Friday I'm getting a tad bit used to the one flavour, but there are few things like it - it's like getting a big hug from one's lunch.

You should try vichysoisse - it's jolly good, and supposedly can be served chilled or heated (not a big fan of it chilled round here). It's also easy peasy to make - which is always an advantage.
