1. Polly's cooking and I've got a new DVD of SlapShot

We've got six cats, and lots of friends and probably a couple family members are swinging by.
Andy the Right Wing Republican will more than likely be here for the Lions game, but we won't talk politics. He doesn't seem to want to bring that particular subject lately and, being a liberal of kind heart and superior intellect, I don't kick a guy when he's down.
John
Actually, Andy's a pretty smart guy himself. He built this computer I'm chatting with y'all on. With a 17" flat screen, two DVD drives, 350w power source, almost 90g of memory split between two hard drives, a pretty good set of speakers and other toys too numerous to mention, I paid just under $500 for it (some of the parts, of course, came from older computers he had).

5. I just love that song, now I will be singing it all night long.
You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant
You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant
Walk right in it's around the back
Just a half a mile from the railroad track
You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant

6. Alice's Restaurant - one of our traditions
We've played that song on Turkey day for the past 30 years of so ... heard it first year it was out (year we got married I think - '69).

Then had it on an 8-track tape, then cassette tape, now in an mp3 format!

7. Wishing you the best!
Better a simple meal eaten in peace, than a huge feast eaten with knots in your stomach and conflict on every side.
