U2 does NOT suck, btw.

Bono is damn near the perfect man.

4. didn't see it, but is your opinon because of Bono's dealings with
the RW assholes? It is jarring, I agree, but I believe he really has his eye on the goal and looks past the devil in the details.

7. You are apparently consumed with selfishness and jealousy.
Otherwise, you wouldn't have a bitch about him.

;)

6. I've tried to like the guy...
(well, not really). Never liked him, never will. He's much too full of himself.

11. What would be a better manner of behavior then? He's self-depricating,
tries to do good things for people all over the world; he's ouspoken and blunt, while being diplomatic.

He is a fantastic singer and song writer, he has never pretended to be a good guitar player. Their music is a constant evolution, as is their message.

They write GREAT love song AND good socially conscious songs.

They don't screw around on the road; all of them are party boys you can lift a pint with, but who won't screw anyone on leaving the pub. You NEVER hear about them in restaurants, on yachts, at parties, nothing.

They're polite, shy, kind, funny, very, very private; they have NEVER put their personal business out in public. EVER.

They are good, decent, stand-up guys who are very regular, OTHER than the fact that they have made millions of dollars through working their asses off doing something artistic and creative that they're the best in the world at; They've used their fortune to away millions and made OTHERS open their wallets AND opened doors and made people think and respond and get off their asses and DO something about really, really important global issues.

They're the most respected musical act in history, as far as the below the line talent goes; there is never an opening to tour with them, they keep all their guys for decades now.

I don't see what the problem is. They're the best group of lads in the business, bar none.

12. Nice try but don't bother
Some people decide they don't like someone and never give them a chance. They really just don't want to like the person. Bono/U2 fine people and fine musicians.

Seemed uncharacteristic and snarky.

I like U2, and believe Bono stands for a great deal of noble ideals. However you're entitled to your opinion.

15. He has kept his perspective and his sense of humor that is for sure
If you didn't like how he came off on that interview you didn't like him anyway and never will. I thought he came off as a pretty normal guy especially considering how pompous most people who have had half his success would be.

He walks the walk. He puts his money where is mouth is and gets audiences with world leader for his work with poverty and international lending organizations.
