I've been writing this weekly column since June, 2001. But I was a reporter/editor for the same paper for 10 years altogether. Now just write the column and teach some college classes.

I hope you teach writing classes. A good natural cadence like that is hard to come by. It's a style I try to emulate, but without much success, I'm afraid.
