I especially like the swans. They remind me of the ones I used to see when I went into Boston many years ago.

In the Boston Public Garden they have "Swan Boats", as well as swans. I've never ridden in the boats but perhaps someday I will.

I haven't taken too many animal pictures yet since they have the tendency to move and it is really tough to get a good shot of them.

*hint* if you like to take pictures of animals... Two big monster animals :) I'd love to have two black-and-white portraits of them; I have hundreds of pictures especially of the little one but most of them were taken when they were young. I think it's time to take pictures of those beautiful, dignified old faces...

:nuke: I'm shuffling off to Buffalo today but I can't leave yet because Airborne Express couldn't find my house. They say the driver left an attempt to deliver on my door 4 times. The manager of the Albany AE depot was very rude to me. He was foolish enough to argue with me insisting that I was wrong because I said his driver was here. BTW I was right!

I can't let this go because I have two Dell computers and they only use Airborne to deliver. Anytime I need a part I have to depend on a delivery through Airborne. It took quite a bit to get the manager to admit that his driver might have made a mistake and YES the customer is right.



I filed a complaint that went all of the way up through the chain of command up to the CEO.

Now I have to delay my departure (by an hour and a half) on a long drive just to be at Airborne by 9 AM. Dammit I will be sitting in stop and go traffic instead of rolling merrily along route 90! I need the new battery for my computer! I placed the order on Monday of last week. Dell promised 48 hour delivery. My next complaint will be to Dell about Airborne!
