Now, on another topic, I did the same thing to my son. He called some older boys "ya mean ol' bastards" and claimed he didn't know it was a bad word. (He was like five.) So I kind of recited a list of the nicer bad words and told him never to use them.

On this other subject, when my son was in first grade, his teacher stopped me and said "Michael was saying bad words on the playground". I was mortified, of course and asked which words? She said, "He was yelling, Dick at the top of his lungs when he went down the slide".

So, at dinner, I sort of asked about the situation on the playground and he said "Well, Benjamin and Evan told me I would be a wimpy warrior if I didn't yell Dick".


Later on, he says "I don't know why they told me to yell Dick. There is no one in our class named Dick".

that one. Just mainly shit, ass, damn. I got in trouble one time in 3rd grade while reading aloud in class. It was about a beaver dam and when I said dam, I started giggling uncontrollably. The teacher didn't find it funny!!
