Any cigar smokers on DU?
I mainly smoke Ashton Prime Ministers 6.5x48 and Romeo Y Julieta Churchill 7x50. I just got a box of Romeo Y Julieta delivered to me.

Anybody else out there smoke a good smoke?

3. Oh yeah. I usually smoke a variety. I do love Opus Opus X; yes
the title is with two Opus. Other favorites are the Savanelli's, Ramone Allones - though their quality has down - and CAO.

25. The title is actually with two Fuentes
Fuente Fuente Opus X.

If I win the Powerball I promise to come to a DU gathering and to bring a whole box of Opus X lonsdales. Thirty-two cigars for the low, low price of only $1100.

We could auction 31 of them off to raise money for a worthwhile charity...like buying DU another server, or buying another box of Opus X. I think the server would be less expensive.

13. 60s are too big!
That's just getting ridiculous.

It's embarassing sometimes, because I'm sure people look at me with the big fat cigar and say "penis issues", but the truth is, the fatter and longer ones have such better taste -- fuller, more interesting, and, usually, not so hot to the tongue, either.

26. I had a 12x70 cigar pnce ....
but I got it because Massachusetts enacted a smoking ban and I wanted a big smoke for my last one.

Now I don't bother drinking cognac there, can't enjoy it without a smoke.

8. I have been priced out of the good cigar market
Cigars I used to pay $2-3 for are like $8-12 now. No way I could afford those.

16. Where do you get yours?
I used to go thte J&R tobacco shop in Manhattan for all my cigars - excellent selection (all the real cigars) and very good prices.

There was another store down by Wall Street that I used to go to when I worked down there, but I can't remember if that was a J&R branch (I think it was) or another place, but it also had excellent cigars at discount prices.

17. I don't care about ring size or style. I'm more of a brand and flavor
and will smoke whatever size suits my current mood.

Brands:

Romeo y Julieta Vintage

H Upmann, almost anything

CAO anything, especailly Criollo

Ashton Cabinet

some Drew Estate brands

The only Cohiba I will touch is the Cuban variety.

I also have been known to enjoy an Arturo Fuente

18. Ashton Cabinet ...
had a bunch of those once and handed them out. I was sitting with a bud, smoking the last one and doing shots of JD. The cigar/JD tastes melded and then I realized that I just gave these excellent cigars away. WHAAA!!!

30. Only do that with CHEAP cigars
I did a search for "blunt wrappers." These days, people are either too lazy or have the wrong kind of thumbnails to properly break the glue on a Phillies Blunt so they can put grass in there, so now you buy blunt wrappers--they come 25 to a ziploc bag.

Okay, here's the point of this screed: http://www.legislatorcooper.com/pressrelease_144.html. Says this dumb motherfucker, blunt wrappers are marketed to minors to encourage the use of tobacco by children. Oh god.

Okay, all you lurking stupid-ass freepers, listen close:

BLUNT WRAPPERS ARE NOT SOLD TO ENCOURAGE THE USE OF TOBACCO BY CHILDREN.
BLUNT WRAPPERS ARE SOLD SO PEOPLE CAN MAKE REALLY BIG MARIJUANA CIGARETTES.
