2005 Q Awards and the winner is................. ..............

Ten years after being at the fore of Cool Britannia, Oasis were the big winners at the Q Awards.


The Gallaghers took the Best Album title for Don't Believe The Truth. The band also scooped the People's Choice Award. Oasis had bagged five nominations for the annual event.




Their rivals Coldplay were named Best Act In The World Today.

5. Holy SHIT is Coldplay overrated.
I don't get the Coldplay craze in the UK. And I have two of their three albums. I like them.

But best act in the world today? Umm....okay..... :shrug: After their second album was released, there was already a tribute album.

I mean, WTF?
