Larry King's interviewing Dolly Parton
She just said she'll be 60 years old in January...

1. I believe it
I remember seeing her on TV when I was a tot in the 60s. She was already, uh, full grown.

2. I always assumed she was already in her 60s
Guess that shows just how young I am, haha.

3. I've always liked her.
It was pretty funny when she told Larry she was at an "awkward" age when it comes to good scripts!

7. Because she's a national treasure, that's why.
She writes her own songs, sings them like an angel, plays guitar and banjo, and has a wonderful sense of humor, especially about herself.

She grew up grit-poor and used her talents to get to where she is today. She's a genuinely talented and VERY hard-working musician, and does not deserve to be insulted like that.

10. Her voice is just fine.
One of the best there is. Can you sing better than she does?

11. No. & I Don't Write Songs Like Her. & I Am Not So Rich as Her.
Does any of that disqualify my (or your) opinion? Btw, I don't DISLIKE her, AND I really-really like her song, "And I (e-I) will always love U-e-uuuu"

(and you, too)

14. She grew up without indoor plumbing
So I'd say her wealth is pretty "new". She earned every penny. She's a brilliant business woman.

13. Hear hear Red!
Damn right she's a national treasure.

And what wonderful things she's done for the young people of Sevier County TN! When I was in high school, our marching band competed against Sevierville HS marching band. They had shiny, brand new Yamaha instruments and beautiful brand new uniforms (got new uniforms every year as I understand) ALL PAID FOR BY DOLLY!

Dolly should get every humanitarian award there is.

5. Hmmmm - that couldn't have been live unless there are two Dollys
My friend Joe just went to see her at the Universal Ampitheater.

9. She is a quality person, and I enjoy watching her in movies,
and hearing her sing ... BUT ... what was going on with those lips? So much collogen injected into them - they looked about to explode.
