I am running against a guy who stole stuff from little kids. mention it?
Edited on Wed Sep-07-05 11:31 AM by Heaven and Earth
I am running to be hall representative to my college's student government. I have it on good authority that last year, one of my opponents was kicked off campus for breaking into a middle school and stealing av equipment.

This is important because the highest vote getter gets to decide how to spend $200. Should we really trust a guy who stole stuff from little kids?

On the other hand, for such a small election, do I really want to play that rough? I can't decide.

So, my question is: Should I publicize the fact that this guy is a thief?

1. Have someone else get the word out.
As they say on "Muppets Take Manhattan", start a whispering campaign!

6. Yeah, this is the way to go
I wouldn't take this line myself, but I would probably get somebody to alert the media about this.

3. There was a guy who did this and it made the papers
This guy stole computers and sold them on E-Bay abd git caught.

If you have proof, go with it, this is a character and trust issue.

9. I would go to him with a copy of the article and give him a
chance to drop out first. Let him know you intend to publicize this as a character issue if he doesn't. That way he can keep face if he doesn't want people to know.

somebody will, even if you don't, if you stoop to this level. Just out argue, out-think, and out-campaign.

15. Yeah, but this was LAST YEAR.
Not a long-ago pecadillo. I'd seriously consider using it, one way or another.
