6. Our HR dept sent out emails yesterday...

...they'll be collecting for the Red Cross, and the company will match at 150%! (They did the same thing immediately after 9/11).

I love my job.

7. Just got the email from HR today...

My company is as well. That's awesome, as I was going to donate, but now I am going to donate even more, knowing the amount will be doubled! I live in south Florida, and they were also very generous during last hurricane season, when most of their employees were without power for weeks and a good number lost their homes. Paid everyone while they were out of work, and also gave everyone an emergency bonus.

and i wish i could write about the assholes! pharisees! who did a "reply to all" ("oops" my ass!) to say "excellent idea, please count me in for (huge dollar amount)."
