I'm pledging $100 for DU -- here's why

A while back, I asked for help researching an article about the White House's use of staged photo-ops. Thanks to the URLs sent to me by DUers, it turned out rather well (with almost 80 sources!). It's been tentatively accepted by a publisher -- they're offering me $100 if they print it -- and even if it gets nixed at the last minute, I think the information is good enough to make it useful in the run-up to next year's election.

So I think the $100 should go to Democratic Underground. (If they give me any extra, that'll go to Peaceful Tomorrows, the organization for 9/11 families, who have been speaking out against Bush for the past two years ...) I'll be sending it in the form of a money order, not having a credit card.
