As for posting pictures, they need to be uploaded to webspace somewhere. All you have to do is paste the URL into the text box in your message here, and voila! A posted picture.

If you can get the library to 'borrow' this book from another branch, you'll also want to read The Mists of Avalon after The Fifth Sacred Thing.

I believe it will be one of the greatest visionary Utopian novels of the century. The Fifth Sacred Thing is a story of hope for mankind.

It's been around for a while in a large paperback form. You could also heck in used book stores for it.

So you like fantasy/sci-fi? Great feminist short stories: Houston, Houston Do You Read? by James Tiptree Jr (a woman in spite of the name) Mannikins by John Varley and anything by Joanna Russ.

Two years ago I read all of the Patricia Cornwell novels about the exploits of Dr. Kay Scarpetta, forensic pathologist. They're eally good 'who done its' if you like having the wits scared out of you.

It can be kinda rough but it's a must read.

The review that I just pulled says that Women's Country is a feminist utopia which recognizes and involves men as equals.

There's a mention of warrior garrisons where the men live together. The writeup gives quite a bit of the details about the story.



I tend to agree ... THIS looks like a 'must read'.
