Someone should do a movie about an honest cop in a dishonest system
No one's ever tapped that particular plot line, the honest cop who realizes how dishonest the whole police force is, even the city itself, and who fights against it.

Id' also like to see a movie about a sports coach who, somehow, ends up falling, then while he's in the basement of fame, he gets stuck coaching a team made up of the worst losers ever, who've never played together, and basically have never even played the sport before, and manages, in one season, to put together a team that wins the championship in a final, nailbiting game against the team of professionals and well-financed and well-equipped team coached by the guy who unjustly caused the coach's demise.

No one's ever done that one, either.

and it was the best movie ever. Bruce Willis plays the only honest cop in a city full of corruption. I loved it, every second of it.

5. What about a movie about two people who can't stand each other...
But are forced together by circumstance and engage in a series of tension building hijinx, and slowly realize they are madly in love, despite the fact that one or both of them is married/engaged/in an otherwise committed relationship?

I don't believe I've ever seen a movie with that sort of plotline

10. I'd personally love to see a movie about a beloved family member
with an incurable illness teach their kin about how life and relationships and the sun and all the little blades of grass should be cherished each an every single day. Then, they should really die for good measure.

next door to him and through the course of the movie the old man learns to love, make amends with his esstranged son, and marry the widow across the street that he's loved since elementary school, and then, just the old man learns happiness, the child and family disappear and no one's really sure if they ever existed or not.

21. Yeah, they have: Cop Land
W/Sylvester Stallone in the early/mid-90s. A role in which he's actually understated and gained a 40 pound gut for the part (he being the good but ineffective sheriff in a Jersey bedroom community in which a whole community of corrupt NYPD cops live). It was interesting and actually critically well-reviewed.

That said, there is one film that's absolutely riveting - top rung, one of the best dramas ever made, IMO - that fits the first genre, and that's "Witness."

Why Ford didn't get Oscar for that, I'll never know. He is a far better actor than "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones" typecasting.

She: "Whacking's not of much use on a farm."

but all she really wants is to be married again. She spends 2 hours telling everyone that she'll never marry again, but at 1:53 she realizes that all she wants is HIM. Usually the kids(Who she LIVES for) are out getting their asses kicked by gritty kids, or by entitled kids, but the new guy drives her to the place where she PROACTIVALLY deals with their bullys, and then the kids go to their rooms, saying "thank you mom, I love you." And Mom gets busy with the new daddy.
