2. Damn, that was quick....
I used to be in a band that covered that tune, of course you couldn't recognize it because we made it our own.

3. Thanks for the memories!
I've loved that song for what, 24 years now? I was a 7th grader when it came out and I didn't have cable, so I never got to see the video for the song until last year when we had VH1 Classic on our digital cable.

9. What really blew me away about VH1 Classic
was when they played the video for King Crimson's "Sleepless" off of "Three of a Perfect Pair". I NEVER thought I'd see one of their performances on tv unless it was from one of my own video tapes or DVD's.

17. Thanks for the memories
Jeepers, now I feel old. MTV came out when I finished college (1981). My dad used to watch MTV some at night when he couldn't sleep, and said it would be the greatest thing since sliced bread, and hoped country music would do one themselves.

12. Came to shut down my computer.....
And I see this....

Our group would play that song and then I would hit the phone sound on my keyboard...

the girl singer would say whose there...

And we would bust and crunch into Leah by Donny Iris...

then around to a real heavy blues version of Can't Buy Me Love...

And then the set would end with a Reggae version of Love the One Your With.... We would toss out condoms at the end of the song and the set....

Fun Stuff...

Middle set....

16. Name of my car
She's so cute! It's a 2004 Toyota Prius. The afternoon I picked her up, that song played on the radio, and I had named her that before I heard the song...:)
