3. That's a good one, but it will be on a different message board
taken over by freepers and without the "Smilies lookup table.."

9. Well.... I have been part of a grassroots movement
supposedly on a non-political issue. At least, for most of the years it united people from really across the political spectrum. In the last six years, or so, we have had several message boards. On occasions some of us would post political ones. So, not surprisingly since most of the participants are Republicans, the liberals would be jumped on, while the rabid Republicans would sail freely. Two of us were banned from one of the board owned by a guy with obviously too many personal problems.

One of the freeper is a pompous sanctimonious ass who, of course, thinks that he is different. Also is so sure of himself that he comes with "new" stories that most of us dealt with weeks earlier. And his source is either Drudge or the Washington Times. Would often fire before he checks his facts, of course, and when proved wrong, never offer even an "oops."

So he posted on one of the boards that is moderated by a wise older guy. Someone immediately told him it was old news and then I added that it was posted earlier and a third said that he probably got it from Drudge. As it happened all three of us are the known liberals in the group.

He also posted on the second board and the owner went out of his way to thank him and to point out that on this board, no one is telling him that it was old stories, etc, adding that he was glad he banned us.

Well, I can post, again, so replied with the "sniveling" post to the owner..

Won't take long for the hyenas to jump all over that one. And I probably will be banned again. That's OK, can always go to the public library.

The reality is that that issue has been resolved, we won, just some loose ends left and, as we all know, one can become addicted to a message board..

Sorry for the long, convoluted reply by you did ask..
