1. Sadly, we get real journalism from a fake journalism show.
It used to be that we could have civil discussions about politics. It used to happen all the time in interviews. What Jon Stewart did last night was pose tough questions to him without being nasty, which is what a good interviewer is supposed to do.

2. I thought he did a good job and Santorum was talking in circles
about 5 minutes into it after the ice cream joke he was talking nonsense. Jon being civil made Santorum look worse than usual.

5. I thought he did an excellent job of pointing out Santorum's crazy
biases. I yelled at Rick that just because he believes a 'family of one man, one woman, and children is the best' doesn't make it so. That he wants to legalize his views, makes all the rest of us second class citizens (singles, gays, childless couples, etc.) Also, I think his 'ideal family' now only makes up about 30% of all households and causes the vast majority of social ills. How many murders take place in families, how much abuse, how much of the drug and alcohol problems are the result of 'family' pressures?

If he and his followers want to live in a fantasy world, go to it, but what I object to is passing laws that attempt to repress us individuals.

6. I agree... But the people in the audience
got to see how crazy this guy was when he was made to actually explain himself instad of just shouting talking points....

7. An attack on Santorum
would have given Ricky some audience sympathy...letting him go on and hang himsefl with his own words was much more effective.

9. Which is extremely sad...

12. No
and I thought the interview was a little disappointing. Jon was just TOO respectful. I'm not saying you gotta tear a guy down but he barely engaged him. Oh well...
