Did someone tell Jon to tone it down?
He really could have skewered Santorum and Bernie Goldberg last week but didn't. WTF? Maybe I am just so sick of these idiots, I just want Jon to nail them. Santorum has said so much shit and Jon was pleasant with the prick!

1. His show exists in part ot help people sell stuff.
Remember Jon's rant about Crossfire? Jon actually wants to foster real debate, not just blast the other side.

5. lol it went right over man-on-dog's head
I think the most telling part of the whole interview was when Jon said that there was pretty much no way that he could ever get Santorum to see his point of view. I think Jon pretty much summed up the frustration of all liberal who are trying to deal with someone like that...this is why I am really in favor of trying to frame the debate ala George Lakoff. His book will be key if we want to take back our country

3. Puh-leez!
Jon was quite adept with Goldberg. Masterful, a thing of beauty. And it sounds like he took the right tone with Man-On-Dog Santorum too. Let him show his true colors. If someone's digging himself into a hole, don't stop him.

7. Right-o..Jon is the master of "subtle".
The righties expect to go on his and Letterman's show to "do battle". being nice to them throws them off their game, and they have NOTHING..If they cannot argue their memorized talking points, they are cooked..
