2. Most of that sounds good. All
but the breast of an ostrich! Wouldn't that be a big piece of meat?

6. well I have no idea of their disposition
But if you ever have to quit eating beef, Ostrich is your alternative.

Most cuts taste like sirloin beef, very low in fat and dark and rich.

No gamey taste either....

9. I will have to try it
I am not really big on red meat unless I am feeling tired and anemic. I eat fish or chicken, but I do love duck as well, so I am not totally objecting to eating other sorts of animals:P.

So shoot me. I believe in the food chain:eyes:

8. Ostrich is exquisite

and really healthy for you. It has all the right kinds of fats.

I get the ground stuff (slightly cheaper)

Marinate it in ginger soy (my elixer)

Sautee a bunch of garlic and onions.

Dice and marinate some portobella mushrooms in balsamic vinegar for about an hour and sautee.

Then I fry up the meat, mix everything together, and serve with home made apple sauce, wild rice and salad.

Yummmmmmmm
