28. LOL
I'm not touchy. I became a fan when I was growing up in the sixities and 70's when they really did suck. I remember when the most exciting thing about the Yanks was that a couple of their pitchers swapped wives>

Peace

My grandfather always said he will love me no matter what but if I should ever vote republican or root for the Yankees I'm out of his will.

15. My repuke stepfather
who actually watched the Bush-a-thon last night, thereby driving my long-suffering (Dem) mom out of the room.

Were the Yankees off or something? I mean, if you cut this man, he bleeds pinstripes (a most intriguing optical effect :-) ) I can't believe he'd actually choose Bush** over the Bombers. It may be worse than I thought...

18. Other
But I'm not too good for Seinfeld references. It's just that I really really loved Billy Martin and enjoyed how he would manage the Yankees, especially the temper tantrums and cursing and spitting and cussing Steinbrenner out and getting fired, then re-hired, then fired again, then...

29. Lou Gehrig.
Look, I read every biography the library had about the guy when I was nine years old. It's just one of those things. So maybe I am too good for Seinfeld references. I admit that I no longer cared as much by the time George made his way to Yankee Stadium.
