And I didn't even need google!

Robert Culp played the FBI (or was it CIA) sidekick, it's been a while since I've seen the show...

Culp wrote an excellent epsiode. Strange title, something with "Lilacs" in it. It felt like a script originally meant for "I Spy" but was never made at the time. "I Spy" was a show Culp starred in and wrote several episodes for, most of which are damn good episodes as well...
