5. It should be raining in SF right now
Weather.Com radar shows rain on the peninsula right now.

I was supposed to drive over Tioga to Nevada tomorrow, but it now looks like they may be closing it for the season. I REALLY don't want to have to drive the extra two hours to go through Tahoe :(

2. We had a couple drops of rain yesterday but winds kicked up
fortunately they died back down. The cool temperatures definitely help the firefighters.

Air is getting better. Today, I can see the mountains from my bedroom window (they're an hour away.)

3. Pasadena's getting quite a bit of rain....
air smells a lot better. I heard it rained in San Diego yesterday. I hope it stays gentle, or else here come the mudslides.....Simi Valley had a 3.5 earthquake yesterday.

10. Yikes it's pouring.
If this had happened a week ago, there wouldn't have been the devastation we witnessed. Hopefully, there won't be mudslides in the newly burned areas.

9. Forecast for LA says 50% chance by tonight and huge clouds rolling in
right now!!

The air has been scrubbed clean by the breeze, and temps have dropped significantly but right now enormous rain clouds are the most beautiful sight.

12. Snow/hail in Marin
My husband called to say that the ground outside the Caldecott Tunnel in Marin is covered in "white stuff." Almost needed chains which almost never happens here.
