GRRRHHH!!!!! I hate my neighbor...
Today I find out that the sadist encouraged his eldest son to bludgeon a mouse to death that they had caught in a glue trap...

What kind of monster has his 8 year old son do that????

On top of it all the stupid bastard broke his hand when he punched a door after he had been disciplined at work.....

11. Honestly, you're probably the best influence in his life.
Pulling him away from your children, might really be more detrimental to him than he could possibly be to your kids. I understand that being your first thought, though. But, if his parents really are that awful, invite him over a lot and offer him a lot of love. You might just be the saving grace to these kids.

3. Those glue traps are disgusting
I don't know if it's true or not, but they had them at my workplace and someone told me that there's something in the glue that dissolves the skin and hair and the mouse's innards eventually ooze out while it's still nearly alive.

And what are you supposed to do with them when they get stuck on them? Do people just let them starve and/or dissolve if that's true? How horrendous and inhumane.

:puke:

8. I don't know if some people can handle picking up mouse parts
from a mouse trap

I don't need to ever worry about that shit...I have a cat.

My mother has a cat that singlehandly wiped out a mouse attempt to infiltrate her basement. In one night her cat killed 9 mice!

16. I don't have much hope in my cats being able to catch mice.
They are Persian kitties and I think would be worthless as mouse hunters.

12. Hard choice/fine line sometimes between being there for a kid
who really needs an adult and protecting your own kids from potential psychopaths.
Wouldn't something like this warrant a call to Children's Services?
I feel so sorry for kids being 'raised' like this.

13. My friend's 75 year old mom rescued a poor mousling from a glue
trap in a store. She put the trap in her pocket when they heard its distressed crying and went out to the parking lot where she carefully lifted each tiny limb from the pad and set it free.

15. So many issues here.
The kids are the first. They are failing, and very early, because he is failing them. I can't say why from the info posted, except that there's violence and sadism evident.

As for humanely killing pests, give me a break.
I hate rodents in my home. And I hate glue traps because they aren't efficient or pleasant. But killing pests is never pleasant. Use killing traps, suck it up and clean 'em up. Make it quick and clean.

17. You know . . .
Nobody’s god says, “Hate your neighbor.” Even if the neighbor doesn’t believe in God. Put aside your religion. Do your god a favor. And wouldn’t it be something to be loving and kind? Forgive yourself for everything, having once been blind.
