on second thought, you can get a 'happy meal' there, so maybe it's a good spot for a romantic dinner.

Especially if you're both smashed off your arses and it's 3:45 am.

Although...Denny's for breakfast after a great first date isn't horrible, there are better 24-hour places. :)

23. My first serious boyfriend took me there several times
Including our first and last dates. In his defense, we lived in a "large town" and there weren't that many non fast food chain restaurants. He also came from a rather traditional Ohio farm family and wasn't used to ethnic food.

I LOVE popeyes, but popeyes is always the least sanitary place on the planet to eat in---I would rather enjoy my chicken in a Texaco bathroom. But strangely, popeyes has the best fried chicken and sides

27. I used to work at a Denny's.
There was a couple who came in maybe once every two weeks or so. They would hold hands under the table and look around furtively, mumbling in hushed tones. We always assumed they were having an affair. Why they chose to meet at Denny's always puzzled us.
