Poll question: How many songs on your iPod

I have, currently, 4163.

2. My "songs" include the BBC adaptation of

the Lord of the Rings
the audio version of America: the Book
some talk shows downloaded from the Internet and of course a lot of music

3. None. My iPod is dead.

I tried to restore it and reload the 800 songs I have in iTunes. It made it to 111 and froze up (the problem it's been having, freezing abruptly). I guess I'll have to send it in on warranty.

My collection besides prog rock includes some classical(waltzes), and some django reinhardt, plus 1/2 of the original BBC radio play Hitchhiker's episodes.

7. I don't have an iPod,

but I have a direct equivalent (Samsung YH-920). It isn't anywhere as "cool", but it has a few features the iPod lacks. There are ZERO songs on it at present, but it contains several dozen spoken word books (still PLENTY of room left on the 20GB HD). The books are from this site: http://audible.com/

There's no end of great MP3 sound files available on the web, that would be of interest to many here at DU. They too could go into my Samsung, but instead I stuff them into a small solid state MP3 device.
