RE. The Dog Beating/ threats
Edited on Wed May-25-05 07:29 AM by shesemsmom
for those who don't know,May 1st I witnessed my neighbor beat her dog with a huge stick to stop him from barking. He was hungry and thirsty and had been out there all day with neither food or water. I got several agency's involved including PETA. Monday the dog was taken, but not by any of the agency's although they tried. We have new park management, as of last week and they ordered the dog off of the property. The dog is to big and over the weight limit and was not to be chained outside. Hooray, I hope that doggie gets a good home. Thanks for all your support and advice. Your the greatest. Now we leave for our much deserved vacation tomorrow and I will check in on our return. Thanks DU. Shesemsmom

Edited on Wed May-25-05 07:48 AM by shesemsmom
but if he is at the pound, he won't have any trouble getting a home, he's a black Lab and a very cute dog. My daughter was gonna have a freind go over there to get him if he is there. The friend wants him.

7. Any place is better then where he was.
Thursday night he was left out in a storm with winds 65 miles and hours, rain and hail. He cried and carried on and they were at home and didn't bother to take him in. All this and not even a dog house to get into.

8. I'd have swiped him, but you did the right thing.
I understand that your neighbors are loons (I remember your orig threads) and sometimes you can't push.

10. Loons really don't discribe them
the border on being terrorists. Now that the dog is gone, I hope they are next.

9. My next door neighbor leaves her dog out in the rain.
He is a cute little Benji-type dog. I have rescued him a couple of times when it stormed and put him in my garage. The neighbor was upset with me.

In the winter, she ties him outside in freezing cold weather. Once she went out of town and I dog-sat for him. I bought him a sweater, but she took it off him and I never saw him wear it again. Some people should not have pets. I can't understand mistreating an animal. I have a Rottweiler that is really a spoiled rotten Rottie.

She is a cruelty investigator and she is a real go getter. I'll bet that doggie gets a new home quick. I wished I had had her number the day the dog was beaten, it would have made all the difference.
